Expression.substring(begin_index: Union[int, pyflink.table.expression.Expression[int]], length: Optional[Union[int, pyflink.table.expression.Expression[int]]] = None) → pyflink.table.expression.Expression[str]

Creates a substring of the given string at given index for a given length.

Parameters

• begin_index – first character of the substring (starting at 1, inclusive)

• length – number of characters of the substring
